A New Direction

I’ve been taking a month off to think about what I want to say and what I want to do, and one thing I decided is that my business needed a new look. So, I abandoned my old brand and created SourenaV.

I’ve been contemplating this particular change for about a year now, but it’s finally time. I have a lot going on in my life. I’m getting married in two months. Not only that, but I really want to start speaking again next year. As far as that goes, I made a lot of mistakes in the past and I don’t want to make the same ones over again, so I’m taking my time and doing it right. Also, my thoughts and ideas have changed so much over the last two years that it’s time I change and reflect that growth.

I will now write blog posts every other week rather than keeping the weekly schedule I started with two years ago. I’ve got too much going on in my life—and, for now, I’m going to give my attention to Leslie my fiancée, my personal life, and my company.

Over the past few months, I’ve done a lot of traveling with my parents, my cousin, and my roommate Patty cakes. I’ve been to Vegas, San Francisco, Philippines, Hawaii, Tahoe, Disneyland, and I hope to travel with Leslie a lot. My motivation with speaking is pure now. The first time it was out of desperation, but this time it’s about wanting to find a way to fulfill my need to excel. I love business and I love being able to travel around the country. I was previously doing it out of fear. I truly believe that sometimes fear can be a good motivator, but in this case, I was too scared to do it the right way. Also, now, I’m more relaxed and open to new opportunities and direction – and I’m a lot happier that way.

Most of all, as always, I want to you to know that I have a great life. A life that I love. I am happy and having fun….

I hope you like the new SourenaV!
